The Cross Country Course, built professionally to British Eventing Standards, uses the farm’s natural features of woods, streams, hills and banks. There are over 100 jumps (1’6 to 3’6) built on 40 acres of well drained old turf which dries quickly. We have all weather take-offs and landings and the ground and jumps are well maintained to a high standard – see Matt Ryans’ comments! We no longer allow sheep to graze on the cross country course but manage the grass so that it always provides a good cover – this helps the going when the ground is wet or hard.
The Course is endorsed by Lucinda Green MBE, Matt Ryan and Marie Sleet, Leslie Law, Nick Burton, William Miflin and other well known 3 day Event riders. From beginners to advanced we have all you need to train and compete cross country.

The Jumps from 1’6 to 3’6 include two water complexes, combination jumps, ditches, brush fences, coffins, narrow jumps, steps, drops, trakheners, Irish and Normandy banks and much more. We build each type of jump in different heights so riders can gradually progress from small to big, and many of our jumps ask questions. This is a course for riders and horses of all abilities.
